ESC VOICES: Voluteering for inclusion and change

Our project will take place in Palermo, involving 14 young people aged 18-30. The project aims to raise awareness of the value of non-formal education as a tool for active participation and social inclusion, offering opportunities for both personal and professional development. Specific objectives include: Promoting the well-being and educational growth of minors in the Ballarò and Dannisini neighbourhoods, particularly those facing sociocultural and economic difficulties, by engaging with schools, families, the third sector, and local institutions. Empowering young volunteers with knowledge and skills on gender equality, countering violence and stereotypes. Providing opportunities for skill-building in various areas, including office management, European funds administration, and project planning. Supporting social integration and self-sufficiency for migrants, particularly through work opportunities, housing autonomy, and the development of stable social networks.
